MICHAEL'S ART BIO

When Michael was young he would often stare at the stained glass windows during church services, often not hearing the sermons. 40+ years later he is still the same. Michael loves glass creations of all kinds and currently creates copper-foil leaded panels of all sizes. Each work of art takes anywhere between 100 to 320 hours to complete.

Michael specializes in exotic birds, victorian patterns, fireplace screens and sailing scenes. Some of his pieces are above in the photo show. He just recently bought a digital camera so there are only a handfull of recent completed pieces. He also custom builds the wood frames in his shop so that the panels can be displayed in windows.

Michael started designing and completing stained glass art in 1997 when he decided to make a panel for his home in Wilmington, DE. From that point on, he made several more panels for his new home in Landenberg, PA. Some of his creations were side-lights and a spider-web transome for his front foyer.

Since moving to the Annapolis, MD area in 1999, the art and consumer community has been taking notice of Michael's work and he has been commissioned to create numerous pieces for his customer-base.
